Stefano Calligaro (b. 1976, Cividale del Friuli, IT) is an artist and poetrickal figure based in Cluj-Napoca, RO.

 

His « Poetricks » are made of simple lines that question with humor and an extreme economy of meaning the role of art-making and of being an artist in today’s society.

Each of Calligaro’s “Poetricks” is based on one straightforward verbal glitch, one semantic little trick that, despite its simplicity, activates our consciousness and invites the viewer to step into a new territory to imagine, explore and experience.
