Sagas is an ongoing and ever-evolving poem that attempts to crystallise a connection between being and perception, in particular the way that we internalise and understand the passing of time. In this most recent rendition, Sagas (seconds edit), selected lines of the poem are intersected with the average life expectancy of different countries. This iteration of the poem reflects the passing of time back towards the viewer, casting doubt over the mechanisms we use to order events and structure chaos. Sagas (seconds edit) advocates that time is different to our inherent and intuitive understanding of it and that there isn’t one single time that we can order and measure.
